Pass Muster Ltd work in close association with Peak Training Solutions Ltd and invoice for many of their events. This set of Terms & Conditions is only applicable to events that are invoiced by Pass Muster Ltd.
Payments can be made by bank transfer, debit card or credit card. There is an additional non-refundable transaction charge of 2% of the total gross payable for credit card payments.
Unless agreed otherwise, bookings will remain provisional until the payment is received. Payments must be made at least 14 days before the start date of the course.
The location of the event will be notified to the customer at the time of booking. Pass Muster Ltd reserve the right to change the venue of the event and will notify the customer as soon as such a change is known. If changes are made to event locations they will be within a 10 mile radius of the original venue.
Pass Muster Ltd reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events. In the rare instance that an event is cancelled an alternative event will be offered to the customer for the same price. If this is not acceptable to the customer a full refund will be given.
In-House Event Venues
The location and date of in-house events will be agreed with the customer at the time of booking. The customer will be advised of venue requirements.
Cancellations and Transfers
If the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply, you have the right to cancel within 7 days provided that services have not commenced and are not due to commence in this period.
In other circumstances refunds will not be provided, but a transfer to an alternative course or date will be permitted. There is however a charge of 25% of the course fee payable if notification of the transfer is received less than 14 days before the event’s start date.
The customer may substitute one delegate for another without penalty.
Warranty and Liability
It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that delegates have the necessary level of competence to achieve the objectives of the course as set out in the course syllabus. Pass Muster Ltd.’s liability for loss and
damage shall be limited to a claim for damages which amount to the maximum of the charges for the event out of which the loss or damage has arisen. Pass Muster Ltd will not be liable for indirect losses, consequential losses or loss of anticipated profit or data, however such losses arise.
Copyright of Materials
The copyright of all course materials remain the property of Pass Muster Ltd and Peak Training Solutions Ltd. The customer undertakes that it will not copy or permit copying of materials, nor disclose or permit the disclosure or, sell or hire materials to third parties.
“Days” refer to calendar days
“Events” refer to training courses or examination sittings.
Examination scripts and results may be shared with Pass Muster Ltd, Peak Training Solutions Ltd, Scoll Methods Ltd (for Modelling Business Process exams), an independent moderator (who may work for a third party) and the British Computer Society (BCS).
Examination results will be advised to the examination candidate according to the regulations set out by the BCS.
Examination results will not be passed to any other parties with the exception of those listed in the above paragraph.
